This is the disclaimer that Louis CK posted with the online release of his new special on his website which you can watch for $5.
I kind of love this. He acknowledges a reality that people will torrent this and even if he doesn’t say it I will say it ‘That is a shitty thing to do’.
But this is a way for the little guy (us) to win down the road if we just say ‘He is giving me way more than $5 worth of entertainment, I am going to pay’. That way we dont need big corporations getting involved.
Instead of paying full ticket price to see a show, you are paying only the ticket service charges that a company charges you these days.
That is a good deal. And he is funny too, so this is double not a scam.
